What do I use this site for?
If you know that you want to go to university, and are thinking about going to college first – or maybe you are already at college and want to know which degree your course can take you to – then our search function will help you to search by college course or by university course, and show what pathways are available to you. Pathways are sometimes referred to as articulation routes. More information on this is detailed later.
At the moment, this website is in its early stages of development and we can only show the pathways between colleges and universities in the regions of Stirling, Clackmannanshire, Fife, Falkirk, West Lothian, City of Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian, and the Scottish Borders. We hope one day it will cover all the colleges and universities in Scotland. You will find all the formal, agreed pathways that exist in these geographical areas designed to take you seamlessly from College to degree level study.
Is this site for me?
You should use this website if you are a school pupil or adult returner wanting to go to college to study before going to university, or if you are a current college student and want to find out which universities will accept your college qualification for direct entry into second or third year of a degree. You might also use it if you completed a college course a few years ago and have decided now is the time for you to use your qualification to go to university. If you are an advisor working with school pupils or college students, you might also find this a valuable tool.
